A relative newcomer to the diagnostic market, Nanocom is more limited in functionality than the Rovacom products, but does have some practical value.
At the time of writing it covers the Td5 engine in both Defender and Discovery implementations, the Defender Alarm, Defender and Discovery ABS (including SLABS on the Discovery). A Discovery BCU (Body Control Module) is "coming soon" with other modules in the pipeline, and promised to be included in the GBP200+VAT initial price tag. The biggest innovation of the Nanaocom is the standalone mode allowing fault diagnosis and reset without attaching a PC, and the instrument mode showing RPM, Battery Voltage, Coolant Temperature and Turbo Boost Pressure in real time. The backlit display lends itself to permanently mounting the unit in the vehicle.
